Nzxt cam not detecting kraken
NZXT Cam Kraken X73 can't control pump speeds. So today I turned my PC on and noticed this high-pitched noise coming from the case, something that had already happened in the past and it was due to the pump speed of my Kraken X73. I checked Cam and I see that the pump is at around 2800RPM regardless of the temperature of the CPU.Initially, the pump display didn't want to turn on, sometimes was flashing in white and other times was just not displaying anything at all. After careful inspections, I found out it was a matter of plugging the 2 cables / 3 pin wire into CPU_FAN rather than AIO_PUMP as a friend suggested. The monitor is now on, cooler and fans are working ... Daisy-chain - the daisy-chain system is reserved for case fans. Plug the fans for the pump onto the as before mentioned sockets. It also might be a problem with NZXT cam, so if you have tried all the troubleshooting, uninstall and reinstall NZXT CAM as it might be an issue with the software itself. I'm able to get it be recognized again if I restart and or manually install the Kraken drivers through CAM, but it eventually disappears again upon a fresh booth a day or two later.I've seen people suggest using KrakenZPlayground to control basic pump functions and more "importantly" the LCD screen. I'm gonna use FanControl to control pump and fans, SignalRGB for my Lian Li fans, and KZP to use the LCD screen gifs. There are 4 wires that need to be connected: 2 from Pump - 1 x 4 pin and one NZXT connector (the 4 pin I think is correct in the CPU-fan on the mobo but the NZXT ... Kraken X63 fans and fan rpms don't show up in cam. So the spot where the fan/rpm would be in CAM under "cooling" tab is just a blank. Doesn't report 0 or anything , it's just not there. If you go to the PC Monitoring tab, it does show the cpu fan speed there.
